Cases

2X the speed and 10X the quality

Description

A shift from founder-centred decisions toward clearer authority and more autonomous leadership-team work.

Challenge

The owner of Backstage planned to devote more time to new ventures, so day-to-day management was to be fully transferred to top managers. The main task was to teach the board to function as an independent management team capable of reaching agreements, making decisions without the owner’s intervention, and sharing responsibility for the results.

Transfer operational management from the owner to top management, making the team autonomous and cohesive in its decision-making.

Solution

The process combined team diagnostics, role definition, and the practice of new management interactions. The DISC, Belbin, OKR, and RACI tools helped make goals and areas of responsibility transparent, while individual coaching sessions reinforced the new model of leadership behavior.

After conducting an analysis and a two-day strategic session, we agreed on a vision for the future. We translated the strategic directions into specific initiatives using the OKR framework, establishing metrics and assigning responsible parties.

Result

Within three months, the board began making most strategic decisions on its own, reducing decision-making time by 50%. Collaboration became more structured, enabling a genuine transition from dependence on the owner to autonomous business management.

A common framework for strategic planning has been established, with clear initiatives and designated responsible parties. The team has adopted a unified approach that brings together diverse management experiences around a shared goal.

Description

Current work on strategic priorities, OKRs, an implementation plan, and ownership. Do not claim outcomes before completion.

Challenge

Amid rapid market changes, the company was preparing to scale up, but the leadership team’s diverse experiences and ideas required a common ground. It was necessary to define a single direction, set priorities, establish areas of responsibility, and set up a system for tracking progress.

To consolidate the team’s diverse perspectives into a unified strategy amid rapid market changes, and to define a common direction and priorities.

Solution

After analyzing the current situation and holding discussions with managers, a two-day working session was held to agree on a vision for the future. The team identified strategic directions, translated them into specific initiatives using the OKR framework, and received ongoing support to integrate the agreed-upon actions into their daily work.

Dmytro handled it perfectly

Description

Facilitation of a strategic session with multiple stakeholders and contractors to align on a shared goal and next steps.

Challenge

The challenge was to align the overall direction of the work between internal managers and the subcontractors involved. Given the differing interests and the specific nature of the business, it was necessary to help all participants agree on a common goal and understand how to work toward it together.

Coordinate the overall direction of the work and the expected outcomes between the internal team and subcontractors with differing interests.

Solution

The workshop design was based on decision-making, which made it possible to accommodate different contexts within a single framework and consistently steer the discussion back toward a shared goal. Critical interdependencies among participants were identified, and agreements were translated into concrete actions, taking into account possible changes in external circumstances.

The session focused on solutions. We identified interdependencies among participants and translated the agreements into concrete yet flexible actions.

Result
